Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor with a solid background in mechanical systems estimation and cost management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs, reviewing technical specifications, and supporting project teams in delivering cost-effective mechanical solutions across HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and gas systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and gas systems.

- Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate cost estimation.

- Develop and review technical specifications for mechanical systems.

- Collaborate with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure alignment on project scope and cost.

- Monitor project costs and provide value engineering recommendations where applicable.

- Assist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract documentation.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.





- Utilize software tools to produce accurate reports and documentation.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required to Execute this Role

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Mechanical or equivalent).

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Quantity Surveying.

- Proven track record in handling large-scale construction or MEP projects.

- Strong knowledge of:

- HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems

- Plumbing systems (water supply and drainage)

- Firefighting systems

- Gas systems (including LPG)

- Hands-on experience in quantity take-offs for all above systems.

- Proficiency in:

- Revit

- AutoCAD

- Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills required)

- Experience in preparing technical specifications for mechanical systems.

- Familiarity with medical gas systems is an added advantage.
