- Accounting
Operations: Direct
day -to -day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable,
payroll, and general ledger maintenance.


o General Ledger: Oversee the integrity of the general ledger and
manage the daily posting of revenues and expenses.



o Day -to -Day Operations: Supervise Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable
(AR), and billing departments.



o Payroll: Supervise company payroll to
ensure data accuracy and compliance with labor regulations.





- Financial
Reporting: Prepare and
analyze accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.


· Preparation: Generate monthly, quarterly,
and annual financial statements in accordance with standard accounting
principles.



· Forecasting: Monitor performance metrics,
investigate budget variances, and develop financial projections to help senior
management makes decisions.



· Compliance: Ensure all internal financial
data is highly accurate and adheres to regulatory requirements.





- Budgeting &
Forecasting: Assist in
operating budget preparation, monitor performance variances, and forecast
expenses/revenues.

- Internal Controls
& Risk Management: Design,




implement, and enforce robust policies to safeguard company assets and
ensure data integrity.


o Safeguarding Assets: Develop, implement, and document robust internal
control systems to prevent fraud, errors, and discrepancies.



o Audits: Coordinate with internal and external auditors
during annual financial and retirement audits.



o System
Improvements: Continuously
evaluate and optimize accounting processes to gain operational efficiencies.





- Audit &
Compliance: Coordinate
internal and external audits, ensuring strict compliance with local and
federal tax and financial regulations.


o Tax Filings: Manage the preparation and filing of corporate,
local, state, and federal tax returns.



o Entity
Compliance: Ensure
the business maintains required state registrations, licenses, and permits
across multiple jurisdictions.









- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor the
accounting and finance staff.


Requirements

Key
Qualifications & Skills


- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,
Finance, or Business.



- Certifications: Skilled accounting designations
such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) are
strongly preferred.




- Experience: Typically, 15 years of experience
in different areas in accounting or financial management, Treasury,
Taxation with IT/ITES companies. Should have experience of financial and
accounting standards of other geographies (specifically the US and India).




- Technical
Proficiency: Deep
understanding of accounting software and advanced Excel capabilities.




- Tech Savvy: Should have the experience of driving
digitization and adoption. At VHT, it is expected that the role is able to
drive the Digitization and automation efforts for the function.




- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking,
attention to detail, communication, and leadership capabilities.




- Leading Change: Should be a go -getter and be able to mange
all stakeholders, dive change initiatives.


· Others:



o Experience of working
with US Healthcare / RCM / BPM /IT/ITES companies



o 5+ years in the Controller / leadership role in
the Finance function



o Experience in VC/PE -backed or high -growth
environments
