Hiring: Linux Engineer – Senior SME





Experience: 10+ Years


Location: PAN India / Hybrid


24x7 Support Environment


Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Equivalent




We are looking for a highly skilled Linux Engineer – Senior SME with strong expertise in Enterprise Linux Administration, GreenLake Managed Services, automation, virtualization, and infrastructure support.





Key Responsibilities:


• Lead major incident management and RCA activities


• Drive service delivery, SLA/KPI adherence & process improvements


• Handle Linux server administration, patching & vulnerability management


• Support VMware, OpenStack, OCP & Kubernetes environments


• Prepare SOPs, KBs, HLD/LLD & technical documentation


• Participate in transition, KT & customer engagement activities


• Automate routine operational tasks using scripting/tools






Required Skills:






RHEL / SUSE / Ubuntu / CentOS Administration


Red Hat CoreOS & Cluster Services (PCS, SUSE Cluster)


Linux Security, Release & Patch Management


VMware, SAN, Cloud & OpenStack Concepts


Ansible, Shell Scripting & Automation


Kubernetes / OCP Knowledge


Red Hat Satellite & SUSE Patch Management


Incident, Change & Configuration Management






Preferred:


• RHCSA / RHCE Certification


• ITIL Certification


• Experience with HPE Infrastructure & Enterprise Support






Ideal Candidate:


• Solid troubleshooting & customer management skills


• Experience handling enterprise/global support environments


• Excellent communication, ownership & problem -solving mindset


• Flexible to work in rotational shifts
