Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing project scope, document registers, schedules, and progress reports.
- Prepare and review telecom engineering deliverables: specifications, layouts, block diagrams, cable schedules, and BOMs.
- Support design and integration of telecom systems: LAN/WAN, VoIP, CCTV, PAGA, Electronic Personnel on Board and access control, intrusion detection, Wi -Fi, UHF/VHF radio, TETRA, microwave, VSAT, fiber optics, and structured cabling.
- Perform telecom field design activities: power consumption, fiber optic diagrams, core allocation diagram, IP address plans, cable routing, bulk MTO, and 3D model reviews.
- Prepare telecom datasheets, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and vendor document reviews.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, ITU, NEC, NFPA, 3GPP, ICAO) and client requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, audits, site surveys, FATs and SATs.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and procurement teams for technical discussions and material purchasing.
· Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless telecom integration with other systems.
· Provide input to other discipline packages, bid documents, and construction tenders.
- Provide technical support during construction and assist in training junior engineers.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Telecom Engineer: 8–12 years of experience in Telecom Engineering within Oil & Gas projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with telecom systems design and integration.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of international telecom standards and cybersecurity principles.
