The HR Manager will be the single -point owner of the complete HR function at Skill Stork International School, covering strategic HR, recruitment, payroll, statutory compliance, employee engagement, performance management, and HR systems across IB, Cambridge, and CBSE programmes.
The role requires hands -on leadership, high confidentiality, and accountability for people quality, payroll accuracy, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify hiring requirements in coordination with Principals, Programme Coordinators, and Department Heads
- Create annual and mid -year hiring plans and manpower projections
- Lead end -to -end recruitment for teaching, leadership, admin, and support roles.
- Plan and conduct pan -India recruitment drives (online and physical)
- Post job ads and source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, references, and direct outreach
- Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, and organize interviews, tests, demos, and evaluations
- Conduct salary negotiations and issue final hiring approvals
- Perform background verification, reference checks, and document verification
- Oversee onboarding and induction of new employees
- Handhold non -local employees for relocation, accommodation guidance, and local orientation
- Own monthly payroll and pay -bill calculations including attendance, leaves, late -comings, LOP, deductions, and recoveries
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity, and statutory norms
- Monitor biometric attendance and enforce discipline and HR policies
- Organize employee engagement and HR culture initiatives
- Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions
- Manage performance management documentation, including probation, confirmation, and PIPs
- Ensure POSH, POCSO, child safeguarding, and HR policy compliance
- Handle separations, exit formalities, and full & final settlements
- Maintain HR data, reports, and records in Zoho Recruit and related systems
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in HR
Experience
- 7–12 years of HR experience
- Strong experience in recruitment, payroll, and statutory compliance
- Prior experience in schools or educational institutions preferred
