As a
Forward Deployed Engineer within LDM Global's Transformation team, you will be
a founding technical leader driving the development and deployment of
AI -enabled solutions and automations across the business. Your focus will be on
enhancing LDM Global's core platforms for eDiscovery, digital forensics, and
legal document review, while also working directly with key clients to design
and implement custom, technical workflows.
You
will sit at the intersection of LDM's engineering, product, and operational
teams, applying deep technical expertise to solve complex, real -world problems.
This is a highly entrepreneurial role with significant autonomy, where you will
directly influence LDM Global's internal methodologies and client outcomes as
we accelerate our cloud and AI strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Internal Platform
Automation
Identify
performance bottlenecks and manual workflows within LDM Global's eDiscovery and
digital forensics platforms. Architect, develop, and deploy core engineering
solutions to increase automation, performance, and security.
Lead Client -Facing Technical
Engagements
Own
technical discovery, solution design, architecture, and delivery for key client
projects. This includes running pre -sales scoping sessions to understand client
workflows, data sources, and success metrics.
Translate Business Needs into
Technical Solutions
Translate
ambiguous legal and business problems into clear technical plans, prototypes,
and implementation roadmaps, ensuring alignment with LDM Global's security and
operational standards.
Architect and Build AI -Enabled
Workflows
Design
system architectures, data flows, integration layers, and application
functionality across cloud, LLM, and analytics stacks to support automation and
client solutions.
Technical Implementation and
Guidance
Guide
the implementation of solutions by engineering teams and contribute code when
needed to unblock or accelerate development. Conduct technical workshops with
client and internal teams to align on the design, data availability, and
deployment requirements.
Data Analysis & Prototyping
Analyze
diverse data sources (APIs, SQL, CSV, logs, financial data, etc.) to uncover
opportunities for automation and optimization. Build rapid prototypes and
proofs -of -concept to illustrate solution value and accelerate adoption.
Communicate Technical Strategy
Communicate
the technical solution in business terms — focusing on ROI, operational impact,
and future scaling opportunities — to both technical and non -technical internal
and client stakeholders.
Lead Document Automation
Workflow – Breach Response Review
Own and oversee the end -to -end
automated document processing pipeline for breach response review engagements.
This includes ingestion, classification, and routing of structured and
unstructured documents containing PII and PHI.
- Manage automated workflows across diverse file types —
Excel, PDF, Word, and others — handling both structured (tables, forms) and
unstructured (free -text, scanned) documents
- Ensure accurate identification, flagging, and handling
of PII/PHI data in compliance with applicable regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA)
- Define and enforce quality control standards across
automated and manual review touchpoints within breach response pipelines
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and technical teams
to ensure automation outputs align with review requirements and client SLAs
- Monitor pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks, and
continuously improve throughput and accuracy
- Document workflows, escalation paths, and decision
logic for team -wide use and auditability
