Job Summary:

We are looking for a agile and result-oriented Assistant Manager to drive business growth in the Transformer Manufacturing, Remanufacturing, Repair, Refurbishment, and Maintenance Services business. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of transformers, excellent business development skills, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships across industrial and utility sectors.

Role & responsibilities

Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.

Identify new business opportunities in transformer manufacturing, remanufacturing, repairs, refurbishment, testing, and maintenance services.

Visit customers regularly for business development, company presentations, and technical discussions.

Build and maintain robust relationships with industrial customers, EPC contractors, OEMs, utilities, government organisations, and key decision-makers.

Generate enquiries, prepare techno-commercial quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and convert enquiries into orders.

Maintain a healthy enquiry pipeline and achieve assigned sales targets.

Coordinate with engineering, production, service, and dispatch teams for smooth execution of customer orders.

Follow up with customers for quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, invoice submissions, and payment collections.

Support tender and e-tender activities including preparation and submission of technical and commercial documents.

Conduct product presentations, customer meetings, exhibitions, and promotional activities.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies,



and customer requirements.

Prepare sales forecasts, business development reports, and monthly MIS.

Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in CRM.

Ensure high customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and effective after-sales support.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of Power Transformers, Distribution Transformers, OLTC, Transformer Testing, Repairs, Refurbishment, and Commissioning.

Experience in B2B Industrial Sales and Technical Marketing.

Ability to prepare techno-commercial proposals and tender documents.

Good commercial knowledge including GST and basic business processes.

Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

Strong telephonic communication and customer handling skills
