Purchase Assistant (Engineering & Fabrication)

Job Location: Badlapur MIDC, East, Navi Mumbai

Engineering & Manufacturing Company, Navi Mumbai.

• Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• Working Days: Monday to Saturday

• Education: Graduate / Diploma / ITI / relevant qualification. •

• Experience: 1-3 years in Purchase / Procurement is preferred •

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Purchase Department in day-to-day procurement activities.

• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for quotations, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.

• Collect and compare quotations from different vendors.

• Follow up with suppliers regarding material delivery, pending orders, and dispatch status.

• Maintain proper purchase records, vendor details, quotations, and related documents.

• Coordinate with the Stores, Production, PPC, Quality, and Accounts departments for purchase requirements.





• Assist in identifying and developing recent vendors as required.

• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, fabrication consumables, tools, hardware, and other industrial items.

• Verify purchase-related documents and invoices before forwarding them to Accounts.

• Maintain regular follow-up with vendors to ensure materials are received on time.

• Update purchase trackers and MIS reports regularly.
