Job Summary

The Account Head will be responsible for managing the overall finance and accounting operations of the organization, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strategic financial planning within the diamond/jewellery business.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation)
Manage inventory accounting for diamonds, jewellery, and precious stones
Ensure accurate costing, valuation, and stock reconciliation
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow reports
Coordinate with auditors (internal & external) and manage audits
Monitor and control company budgets and expenses
Supervise and guide the accounts team
Manage export-import documentation & financial transactions (if applicable)
Ensure compliance with diamond industry regulations and financial practices

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com),



CA / Inter CA preferred
Robust knowledge of GST, Tally/ERP systems, and financial reporting
Experience in diamond/jewellery industry accounting is mandatory
Positive understanding of inventory-heavy business models
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Experience
Experience working with diamond trading, manufacturing, or retail companies
Knowledge of export billing, foreign transactions, and currency handling
Familiarity with lab-grown diamond business operations

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
