Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business and technical requirements by working closely with internal stakeholders.
Create and own High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for core and broadband services.
Present design proposals and drive technical sign-offs from stakeholders.
Own hardware and software selection, perform bug scrubs, and assess security vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with testing and implementation teams to review test plans, defects, reports, MoPs, and change tickets.
Support vendor selection by contributing technical inputs to RFPs and conducting technical evaluations and PoC testing.
Influence network feature roadmaps by working with strategic vendors on release planning and budget inputs.
Drive platform enhancements, automation initiatives, and DevOps-aligned solutions to enable build-once, deploy-multiple strategies.

Must-Have Skills:




Solid expertise in IP networking and routing technologies: MPLS, LDP, IS-IS, BGP, ACLs, QoS.
Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS-XR platforms such as ASR 9000 and NCS 5000 series.
Solid background in service provider networks covering routing, switching, and security.
Excellent communication skills for risk articulation, stakeholder sign-offs, escalation management, and weekly status reporting.
CCNP Service Provider certification.

Valuable-to-Have Skills:
Experience with OpenConfig and vendor-specific NETCONF-YANG models, JSON, and XML for network automation.
Working knowledge of Python, Ansible, and configuration management using Git.
Exposure to ISP subscriber technologies such as Nokia SROS, BNG, IPoE, PPPoE.
