Job Description:
Manipal Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Nurse to join our critical care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, monitoring their health and administering treatments as needed. You will be responsible for assessing patients? conditions, collaborating with healthcare teams to create and implement care plans, and ensuring a safe environment for critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and clinical status continuously.
Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide emotional support to patients and their families while educating them on the treatment process.
Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, as needed, and respond to emergencies swiftly.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all nursing interventions and patient responses.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures,



as well as safety and infection control protocols.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Skills and Tools Required:
Bachelor?s degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
Current nursing license and relevant certifications in critical care or ICU nursing.
Proven experience in an ICU or critical care environment.
Solid clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress workplace.
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other medical software.
Knowledge of medical equipment and technologies used in critical care settings.
Robust teamwork and collaboration abilities with a focus on patient-centered care.
