BIM Channel is looking for an AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our team. This is an entry-level chance suitable for freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience who have a positive understanding of AutoCAD and technical drawing.
The selected candidate will work with our project team on drafting and documentation for real-world Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) projects.
Responsibilities
Prepare and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
Create and update technical drawings based on project requirements.
Read and understand architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Make drawing revisions based on project and coordination requirements.
Maintain accuracy and consistency in drawings.
Follow project-specific drawing standards and guidelines.
Coordinate with team members to complete drawings within project timelines.
Maintain proper drawing files and documentation.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Basic understanding of technical and construction drawings.
Positive attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic knowledge of architectural, structural, or MEP drawings will be an advantage.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
