Assistant Works Manager / Assistant Workshop Manager – Commercial Vehicles

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Works Manager to support the Workshop Manager in overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring productive vehicle repairs, high productivity, quality service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Works Manager in managing daily workshop activities.
Supervise Workshop Supervisors, Technicians, and Electricians.
Monitor vehicle repair progress and ensure timely delivery.
Ensure proper job allocation and workshop loading.
Maintain high standards of repair quality and safety.
Resolve operational issues and support customer complaint handling.
Coordinate with the Spare Parts department for parts availability.
Monitor technician productivity and efficiency.
Support warranty claim processing and service documentation.




Ensure compliance with company and manufacturer service standards.
Prepare daily operational reports and performance updates.

Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
5–10 years of experience in commercial vehicle or automobile workshop operations.
Experience in supervising workshop teams.
Solid leadership and communication skills.
Experience with Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Eicher, BharatBenz, or similar commercial vehicle brands preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
