JOB DESCRIPTION — Tally Accountant

Location: Sarjapur Sompura Gate, Bangalore Function: Accounts & Finance

Languages: English, Hindi, Kannada

Software: Tally (Mandatory), Excel

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to support our day-to-day tally operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on with Tally, comfortable working in a fast-paced startup setting, and capable of managing accounts accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
Process vendor invoices, track payables, and follow up on receivables
Assist in preparation of GST returns, TDS workings, and other statutory compliance filings
Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely ledger reconciliations
Support monthly and annual closing activities including trial balance and P&L; preparation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve billing queries
Assist the senior accounts team with audits, MIS reports, and ad hoc financial analysis

What We're Looking For




Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience in an accounts or finance role
Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime is mandatory — this is non-negotiable
Graduate in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com or CA Inter preferred
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic Indian accounting standards
Fluency in English, Hindi, and Kannada — must be comfortable communicating in all three
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer skills
Prior experience in a trading, retail, or e-commerce company is an added advantage.
