Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Commis I – Bakery & Confectionery to join our culinary team at our Central Kitchen Commissary. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing a wide range of bakery and confectionery products while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, desserts, and other bakery products.
Assist in the production and decoration of confectionery items according to standard recipes.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and product quality.
Monitor baking times, temperatures, and ingredient measurements for optimal results.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery work area and equipment.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients and finished products.
Assist in inventory control and report stock shortages to the Chef.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards at all times.
Minimize wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
Support senior chefs in daily bakery production and special orders.





Requirements
Minimum2–3 years of experience in a bakery and confectionery kitchen.
Local Candidates prefered
Knowledge of bread making, pastries, cakes, desserts, and confectionery production.
Familiarity with bakery equipment and baking techniques.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
