Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate, refined, and guest-focused Sommelier to elevate the wine experience at one of India’s leading luxury hotels. You will be the face of our wine program, curating exceptional pairings, educating teams, and driving beverage excellence across all dining outlets, banquets, and private events. - Certifications: WSET Level 3, CMS Certified Sommelier, or equivalent preferred

Key Responsibilities

Wine Program & Coordination
Wine List Curation: Design, develop, and update the hotel’s wine list to reflect global trends, regional specialties, guest preferences, and outlet concepts
Wine Coordination: Oversee all wine service across restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and banquet operations to ensure consistency and luxury standards
Cellar Management: Maintain optimal storage conditions, inventory control, and rotation of stock to preserve quality and minimize wastage

Guest Experience & Sales
Wine Pairing & Service: Recommend and serve wines to guests, offering expert food pairing suggestions to enhance the dining experience
Tastings & Events: Conduct wine tastings, masterclasses, winemaker dinners,



and private events for guests and VIP clients
Revenue Growth: Drive wine sales through upselling, curated promotions, and by-the-glass programs while maintaining cost controls

Training & Education
Staff Training: Train and mentor F&B; service staff on wine knowledge, service etiquette, tasting techniques, and confident guest interaction
Guest Education: Educate discerning guests on wine regions, varietals, and vintages to create memorable experiences

Procurement & Administration
Purchase Coordination: Liaise with F&B; Controller for ordering wines
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of global wine regions, vintages, viticulture, and current

market trends
Skills: Exceptional palate, solid communication, guest engagement, team training, and

inventory management
Attributes: Passion for hospitality, attention to detail, polished grooming, and ability to work

evenings/weekends

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
