Job Description – Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

Hindustan Gold Industries is looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of plant machinery through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in maintaining industrial equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and minimizing machine downtime in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and restore equipment to operational condition.
Maintain pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, compressors, agitators, and other rotating equipment.
Carry out installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machinery.
Inspect equipment and recommend repairs or replacements to improve reliability.
Monitor machine performance and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, Production, and Utility teams during maintenance activities.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.




Maintain maintenance records, checklists, equipment history, and spare parts consumption.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, preventive maintenance schedules, and housekeeping practices.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance within a manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, rotating equipment, and maintenance practices.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment independently.
Positive understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
