Key ResponsibilitiesMedication Dispensing & Verification
Dispense prescribed medicines accurately as per doctor’s prescription.
Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
Ensure correct labeling, packing, and storage of medicines.
Guide patients regarding medication usage, dosage, side effects, and precautions.
Inventory & Stock Management
Maintain adequate stock levels of medicines and consumables.
Monitor expiry dates and ensure FEFO/FIFO practices.
Coordinate with procurement teams for medicine ordering and stock replenishment.
Maintain narcotic and scheduled drug registers as per statutory requirements.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council regulations and hospital policies.
Maintain pharmacy records and documentation accurately.
Participate in audits and inspections related to pharmacy operations.
Ensure pharmacy license and related documents are up to date.
Clinical & Patient Care Support
Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding medication availability and substitutions.
Support medication safety initiatives and adverse drug reaction reporting.
Assist in patient counseling and medication education programs.
Operational Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
Ensure proper storage conditions for temperature-sensitive medications.
Handle emergency medication requirements promptly.
Support smooth functioning of IP, OP, ICU, OT, and emergency pharmacy services.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) / Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
Registered Pharmacist with State Pharmacy Council
Valid Pharmacy Registration Certificate
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
