Job Title: Cashier – Food & Beverage (F&B;) Department

Job Description:

A Cashier in the Food & Beverage Department is responsible for handling guest billing, processing payments, maintaining accurate cash records, and ensuring smooth financial transactions. The cashier uses the IDS Hotel Management/POS software to generate bills, record sales, process various payment methods, and prepare daily cash reports.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate the IDS POS (Point of Sale) system for billing and cashiering.
Generate guest bills accurately for restaurant, bar, and room service orders.
Process cash, credit/debit card, UPI, and other digital payments.
Post restaurant charges to guest room accounts through IDS software.
Maintain an accurate cash float and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
Prepare daily cashier reports and submit cash collections to the Accounts Department.
Handle bill corrections, discounts, refunds, and void transactions as per company policy.




Coordinate with restaurant staff and the Front Office to ensure accurate billing.
Resolve guest billing queries professionally and courteously.
Follow hotel policies regarding cash handling, financial controls, and data confidentiality.

Required Skills:
Knowledge of IDS Hotel Management/POS Software.
Basic computer skills (MS Office and email).
Strong numerical and cash-handling ability.
Valuable communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualification:
Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Commerce.
1–2 years of experience as an F&B; Cashier or Restaurant Cashier.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
