Team Leader – E-commerce / Marketplace Operations

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to manage and lead a team of 20 members in our E-commerce/Marketplace department. The ideal candidate should have solid leadership skills, hands-on experience in managing marketplace operations, and the ability to drive team performance while ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 20 team members.
Monitor daily team performance and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure timely completion of work.
Handle team escalations and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
Develop and implement strategies to improve team efficiency and service quality.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth business operations.
Maintain SOPs and ensure compliance with company policies.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
Train new employees and support ongoing skill development for the team.
Motivate team members and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications




Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in E-commerce or Marketplace Operations.
Minimum 2 years of experience leading a team of 15–20 members.
Strong understanding of marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Ajio, Shopify, or similar platforms.
Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in KPI tracking, reporting, and performance management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling seller accounts, catalog management, inventory, order processing, pricing, and marketplace performance.
Knowledge of marketplace policies, advertising, and operational workflows.
Experience in process improvement and team performance optimization.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
