We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in sheet metal design and pharmaceutical equipment development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing pharmaceutical machinery and sheet metal components while ensuring quality, functionality, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies for pharmaceutical equipment.
Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or Inventor.
Develop fabrication drawings including dimensions, tolerances, bending details, welding details, and BOM (Bill of Materials).
Design pharmaceutical process equipment such as tanks, mixers, conveyors, packaging systems, clean room equipment, and related machinery.
Coordinate with production, fabrication, and project teams for design implementation.
Perform design modifications and optimization for cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency.
Ensure compliance with GMP standards and pharmaceutical industry requirements.
Conduct design calculations, material selection,



and strength analysis.
Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting.
Prepare technical documentation and maintain engineering records.

Required Skills:
Robust knowledge of sheet metal design concepts, fabrication processes, and manufacturing techniques.
Experience in pharmaceutical design.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD).
Understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Knowledge of SS fabrication, welding processes, and assembly design.
Familiarity with BOM preparation and production drawings.
Understanding of GMP standards and pharmaceutical equipment requirements.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5+ years of experience in sheet metal and pharmaceutical design (can be adjusted as required).
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
