About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Retention Manager to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should possess robust knowledge of Non-Employee Advantages (Non-EB) General Insurance products and demonstrate expertise in client retention, relationship management, policy renewals, and cross-selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and retain existing corporate and individual insurance clients.
Handle policy renewals and ensure high retention ratios.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
Analyze client insurance portfolios and provide suitable renewal solutions.
Coordinate with underwriting and operations teams for seamless policy servicing.
Address client queries, policy-related concerns, and claim support requirements.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling insurance products.




Monitor renewal pipelines and ensure timely follow-ups with customers.
Prepare retention reports and MIS as required by management.

Required Product Knowledge

Candidates must have hands-on experience and sound knowledge of the following General Insurance products:
Fire Insurance
Property Insurance
Engineering Insurance
Marine Insurance
Liability Insurance

Desired Candidate Profile
Female candidate with 4 to 9 years of experience in the General Insurance sector.
Strong understanding of Non-EB insurance products and retention strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts and renewal portfolios.
Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems.
