Job Description:

To supervise, schedule and control Coal & Ash management activities.

To ensure timely unloading of Coal.

To ensure timely sampling of Coal from yard as well as boilers

To take of total/complete responsibilities of operation activities of Energy Centre.

To ensure 100% disposal of Ash.

To ensure timely completion of SAP activities.

To identify weak areas of coal and ash management methods and practices and upgrading by current ideas and developments.

Systemize protected working conditions and also the Environmental Standard.

To maintain and improve housekeeping and enforce safety standards of machines and work workplace so as to avoid industrial accidents.

Implementation of corrective action against unsafe condition

Nurturing & develop human resources to create a vibrant Operation team





Appraise inspires and stimulates subordinates to maximize their performance towards departmental goals.

Analyses and implement cost reduction and quality improvement measures

Reduce the handling losses by proper stacking/ water sprinkling, covering and avoid dust spillage.

Following the FIFO practice for coal consumption.

To ensure proper coal quality by continuous watch over Coal sampling & analysis.

Timely cross analysis of coal samples to ensure proper coal analysis.

Maintain proper fuel mix by proper blending.

Maintain proper fuel size (-8mm) at outlet of secondary crusher.

To take part in upgrading the department through modernization & technological inputs

Discuss shop floor problem with seniors & select & choose best from several alternative
