Job Description:
Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases for data warehouse and data integration projects.
Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes across multiple source and target systems.
Perform data validation using complex SQL queries.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and PySpark.
Create and execute Unix shell scripts to support ETL testing activities.
Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to understand data mapping and business rules.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency across ETL workflows.
Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and
retrospectives.
