Job Description:
Position: Shift Officer - Production (Pharma API)
Location: Vapi
Experience: 2 - 3 Years
Industries: Pharma API
Responsibilities:
Execute API manufacturing activities as per Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), SOPs, and GMP requirements.
Operate and monitor reactors, centrifuges, filters, dryers, and other production equipment.
Ensure accurate charging of raw materials and monitor process parameters during batch execution.
Perform reaction, filtration, centrifugation, drying, milling, blending, and packing operations.
Complete batch documentation, logbooks, and production records accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, and data integrity requirements.
Monitor batch yields and process performance; report deviations and abnormalities promptly.
Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering, and EHS departments for smooth operations.
Verify equipment cleanliness, line clearance, and readiness before production activities.
Participate in deviation investigations, CAPA implementation, change controls, and audits.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of chemicals, solvents, and intermediates.
Supervise and guide operators and contract manpower during shift operations.
Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental compliance standards.
Support process validation, technology transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in production areas.
Achieve production targets while maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills:
Experience as a Shift In-Charge or similar role
Robust knowledge of industry safety standards.
Required Qualification: - B.Sc/M.Sc - Chemistry
Salary :- Upto 3.60 LPA
