What You’ll Do
Safety & Compliance: Uphold Weatherford’s HSE, quality, and governance standards.
Engineering Operations: Support manufacturing, prototype testing, vendor management, and quality improvement.
Design & Development: Apply Design for Manufacturability, update CAD models/drawings, and drive reliability improvements.
Responsibilities
Collaboration: Work with Product Line, Manufacturing, Sales, and global engineering teams.
Problem Solving: Lead root cause investigations, review nonconformance reports, and provide technical support to clients/vendors.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or related field.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in rotating equipment, specifically positive displacement pumps (Progressive Cavity Pumps preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software (Creo is preffered)
and experience reading/modifying P&IDs; and mechanical drawings.
Project Management: Proven track record of managing project budgets, timelines, and supplier interactions.
Soft Skills: Robust analytical problem-solving abilities, excellent client-facing communication, and ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
Preferred:
Oilfield or artificial lift systems experience.
Field operations background (failure analysis, technical support).
Proficiency in welded component and structural design.
Familiarity with API/ASME/ASTM standards.
Skills & Attributes
Robust communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Comfortable working in field settings with PPE and safety protocols.
