About the role

As a data analyst, you’ll support engineering decision-making across our product lines, with a focus on electrical transformer design and power systems analysis. You'll build tools, scripts, and models to help engineers analyse data, optimize designs, and validate performance.

What you'll do
Analyse engineering and test data to support design decisions across transformer and power systems products
Build scripts, models, and lightweight tools in Python and/or MATLAB to automate analysis workflows
Support the development of design and performance models (e.g., efficiency, losses, load behaviour) alongside engineering teams
Create explicit visualizations, dashboards, or reports to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Identify trends, anomalies, or optimization opportunities in engineering datasets
Collaborate with electrical, controls,



and systems engineers to understand data context and requirements
Maintain clean, well-documented, reusable code and analysis pipelines

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in a data analysis, engineering analytics, or similar role
Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for data analysis and scripting
Comfortable working with numerical data, models, and basic statistics
Strong communication skills — able to translate data into clear, actionable insights
Experience with simulation, modelling, or optimization tools
Familiarity with SQL, dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), or data visualization libraries
Background in manufacturing, hardware, or energy industries
