Role Description

The Overseas Education Consultant (Bengaluru) is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home responsibilities. The consultant will meet and counsel prospective learners and families, understand their academic background and goals, and recommend suitable countries, universities, and programs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting profile assessments, explaining admission and visa procedures, guiding learners through documentation and application timelines, and following up to ensure smooth progress. The role also involves coordinating with external stakeholders, maintaining accurate records of interactions, responding to inquiries via phone,



email, and messaging, and participating in events or seminars to promote overseas education services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Consulting skills to guide learners through overseas study options and processes.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Education systems, international programs, and admission requirements.
- Candidates should possess clear and skilled Communication skills, both written and verbal, for counseling sessions and documentation.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathy, patience, and responsiveness.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Bengaluru, manage time effectively, and handle multiple learner profiles simultaneously.
- Proficiency with basic office software and online communication tools; prior experience in overseas education counseling or related fields is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; degrees in Education, Counseling, or related areas are preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and a learner-centric approach to guidance and support.
