Role Title: Principal Configuration Analyst

Position Summary:

The Principal Sail Point ISC Developer / Administrator is responsible for the design, configuration, administration, support, and continuous improvement of the Sail Point Identity Security Cloud (ISC) platform. This role serves as the principal technical lead and is responsible for recommending available configuration options for packaged software and implementing the appropriate solution options to meet business needs. Performs configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and analysis tasks as well as supporting day-to-day business operations of the Sail Point and associated environments. Takes ownership as an escalation point for complex packaged software application needs. These activities may include resolving escalated, complex, and/or business-impacting application issues. The role partners closely with the IAM Product Owner, business analysts, security administrators, application teams, HR, and authoritative source owners, and the identity service team to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly identity governance services. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in cybersecurity and identity & access management,



combined with practical experience designing and operating cloud-based identity governance solutions that support compliance, auditability, least privilege, and business usability

Job Responsibilities:

- Serve as the principal technical lead for Sail Point ISC design, configuration, administration, and support across JML processes, access requests, approval workflows, certification campaigns, and identity governance controls.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable workflows and automation for lifecycle events, role changes, birthright access, requestable access, approvals, exceptions, and remediation actions.
- Design and maintain integrations between Sail Point ISC and enterprise systems, including HR sources, Active Directory / Entra ID, directories, service management platforms, collaboration tools, and target applications.
- Provide technical leadership for role and entitlement modeling, RBAC alignment, identity correlation, access profile design, least privilege, segregation of duties, and audit-ready access governance.
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex incidents, failed provisioning events, workflow or connector issues, recurring defects, and identity data quality problems; lead root cause analysis and durable remediation.
- Lead platform changes, upgrades, release planning, testing strategy, environment promotion, production readiness, documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
- Partners with product, security, risk, audit, application, and business stakeholders to translate control requirements and business needs into sustainable Sail Point designs and prioritized backlog items.
- Coach engineers and analysts in Sail Point administration, workflow design, automation, troubleshooting, secure engineering practices, operational excellence, and platform health reporting.

Skill and Experience:

- 7+ years of experiencerequired to perform essential job functions.
- Additional Experience Qualifier (optional):



Minimum of seven (7) years of experience supporting packaged applications or other related discipline. * A minimum of seven (7 ) years of domain knowledge in area supported by packaged application preferred. (E.g. Finance, Claims, Insurance Accounting)

- Extensive experience designing and implementing functional configuration solutions for business problems within a packaged application while balancing functionality, sustainability, time to delivery and costs
- Strong knowledge of a business domain area as it relates to the applications
- Experience with Structured Query Language SQL

Must Have Skills:

- Direct experience administering Sail Point Identity Security Cloud for JML, access requests, certification campaigns, access reviews, and application onboarding.
- Experience with enterprise identity technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, SSO / federation, MFA, and service desk integrations.
- Experience in regulated, global, or audit-sensitive environments where access governance and evidence quality are critical.
- Knowledge of standards and frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002, and CIS Controls as they apply to identity governance, account management, access control, and security operations.
- Experience with backlog refinement, estimation, testing strategy, Dev Ops/SDLC practices, and structured promotion of changes across non-production and production environments.
- Industry certifications such as Sail Point certification, Security+, SSCP, CISSP, ITIL Foundation, or similar relevant credentials.

Education and Certifications:

- 4 Year / bachelors degree required
