Job Overview:

AVP Investment Banking is a mid-senior level position responsible for providing advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, capital raise and other types of financial transactions.

Qualifications:

• Education: MBA from top tier Institute/CA. A strong academic record is essential.

• Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or 5-6 years of experience in a particular sector

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end execution of live transactions across M&A; and IPOs, including transaction structuring, documentation, coordination with stakeholders, and deal closure

• Build and review financial models for mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising transactions, including integrated operating and valuation models

• Perform valuation analyses using Comparable Companies, Precedent Transactions, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), and regression-based methodologies

• Support in financial, business, and legal due diligence, including research, analysis, and preparation of transaction documentation for live deals • Prepare high-quality presentations for RFPs, pitches, and client discussions, with a solid focus on crafting a compelling equity story and transaction rationale

• Support idea generation for potential M&A; opportunities through sector expertise, thematic analysis, and extensive market and company research • Maintain strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, policies, market developments, and news flow, and assess their implications on transactions and clients





• Support coverage responsibilities by developing and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive business origination

Skills:

• Technical Skills: Strong financial modelling and Presentation skills. Proficiency in Power Point, Excel, Bloomberg, and financial databases.

• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations. Experience in navigating regulatory environments

• Communication Skills:

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

o Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

o Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
