SID D2C Manual Tester Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join our agile quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for comprehensive manual testing of our Shopify and Business Central-based eCommerce systems and their integrations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) platform.

Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities

- Execute manual test cases for Shopify and Business Central-based eCommerce platforms
- Perform comprehensive testing of eCommerce functionalities including product catalog, shopping cart, checkout processes, and payment integrations
- Test system integrations between Shopify, Business Central, and third-party applications
- Identify, document, and report defects with clear descriptions, steps to reproduce, and severity levels
- Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected by new changes
- Validate user workflows and business processes across the D2C platform
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve identified issues
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation and test case repositories
- Participate in requirement analysis and test planning sessions
- Perform smoke testing and sanity testing for releases and deployments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies

Mandatory Skills

- QA Testing: Strong knowledge of QA principles, testing methodologies, and best practices
- eCommerce Testing: Proven experience in testing eCommerce platforms and understanding of eCommerce workflows (product management, inventory, orders, payments, shipping)
- Manual Testing: Expertise in manual test case design, execution,



and defect reporting

Desirable Skills

- Experience with Shopify platform and ecosystem
- Familiarity with Business Central or similar ERP systems
- Knowledge of API testing concepts
- Experience with test management tools (Test Rail, Zephyr, etc.)
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure Dev Ops, etc.)
- Understanding of database concepts and SQL basics
- Experience testing payment gateways and integrations
