Nursing Incharge Position Nursing Incharge Department Nursing Reporting To Nursing Superintendent Medical Superintendent Overview The Nursing Incharge is responsible for managing supervising and coordinating nursing staff and patient care activities within the assigned department ward The role ensures high-quality nursing services compliance with hospital standards and smooth daily operations Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor nursing staff performance and duty allocation Ensure proper patient care safety and adherence to nursing protocols Maintain ward discipline cleanliness infection control and documentation Coordinate with doctors administration and allied departments for seamless operations Conduct rounds to assess patient needs staff availability and work quality Handle patient complaints and resolve issues promptly Ensure availability of medical supplies equipment and maintain stock records Monitor admission discharge and transfer processes Provide training guidance and performance feedback to nursing staff Prepare daily reports and communicate critical issues to the Nursing Superintendent Ensure compliance with hospital policies NABH standards and emergency preparedness Qualifications Skills GNM B Sc Nursing with valid registration Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership communication and team-management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies professionally Knowledge of hospital protocols nursing standards and infection control Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
