Position Title AI Data Lead Scientist Business Unit ABMCPL Department GDNA Location Bengaluru Job Purpose The purpose of the role is to drive innovation and champion best practices while managing the entire lifecycle of a data science solution engagement within a particular business or business unit Business Dimensions as applicable Add Rows as needed Number of group businesses to work with including new age businesses 1 Number of business functions working with 2 Number of diverse and broad technical and algorithmic innovations in AI Data Science 2 Number of reusable assets in AI Data Science 1 Number of distinct KPIs impacted 2 Job Context This role exists as part of a team that works with a business in identifying and executing high-impact AI Data initiatives to create sustainable business impact This role is expected to coordinate with different stakeholders within and sometimes outside ABG to develop leading edge AI Data-led solutions relevant to the defined business problem and to execute these initiatives up to the last mile drive adoption help the business realize impact of the same In the spirit of long term sustenance of the initiatives the role also involves driving the transfer of the solution to the business teams post completion executing relevant AI Data skillset building initiatives and leading the resolution of challenges faced throughout the journey Principal Accountabilities Add Rows as needed AI Data Experimentation Explore cutting-edge AI solutions innovations around at least one the key research areas in data science to establish their applicability and drive their experimentation as relevant to the business Partnerships Explore avenues to partner with external startups vendors and drive the governance of the relationship for either novel capability or effective execution of the data AI initiatives Domain understanding Leverage enhance business process understanding domain knowledge and industry research to provide better context relevance to the data science solution built for solving the identified business problem Business problem solving through Data AI Execute AI Data initiatives that span one ABG business with specific accountability of the Lead being to define business problems with detailed factors hypotheses translate the business problem into analytics problem develop detailed solution design accounting for user needs establish proof of value and user acceptance of the solution Technical problem solving Leverage the expertise in data AI to create exhaustive technical roadmap and guide the team in development and execution of the same the specific steps being data acquisition processing experimenting developing data science AI techniques most accurate relevant validating publishing results developing front end application if any and ultimately getting the stakeholder buy in on the same Project Governance Own the entire governance of the initiatives while adhering to all technical functional standards as well as best practices as defined in the team create forums for reviews and highlight resolve deviations and ensure highest standard of documentation for the same so as to ensure quality and timeliness of solution delivery Stakeholder management Develop professional relationships with mid-level management in the business drive meetings with relevant stakeholders by establishing proper channels ensure clear communication through the required collaterals guide mentor the team on the same in order to ensure seamlessness buy in on all the initiatives Realizing business value Steer the quantification of business impact of Data AI initiatives by creating relevant frameworks communicating through proper channels and aligning with the relevant stakeholders along with identifying reusability of the solutions across another business or business domain Business KRA as applicable Add Rows as needed Monetary Revenue growth or cost reduction through data AI initiatives in the business Non-Monetary Data AI driven improvement in KPIs relevant to a particular business or initiative such as quality CX stability risk efficiency Decision making augmentation Decisions replaced or augmented with the use of data AI Decisions improved through the use of data AI AI Capability Develop some level of data AI capability in the business Drive through examples the data driven decision making culture Exploration of new techniques technologies and establish their applicability Conduct experiments using latest AI Data Science research in the relevant business Annexure -
