Tasks Sr Program Manager - VANs ADAS Integration Sound System SUMS Quality Management Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India is seeking a Sr Program Manager with a good technical background in Product Development with strong mechanical and EE product development Key Job Responsibilities ADAS Sensor Integration Robust Mechanical Design Engineering expertise with hands-on experience in designing components considering manufacturing and assembly requirements Proven experience in Product Development processes particularly within the automotive domain with deep knowledge of plastics and sheet-metal part design Proficiency in design review methodologies such as DFMEA Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and DRBFM Design Review Based on Failure Mode to ensure robust product quality and reliability Exposure to structural simulations and energetic load evaluations will be an added advantage enabling better decision-making during design validation Understanding on Tolerance stack-up process Experience of ADAS systems and end to end sensor integration vehicle building is very important Experience in Wiring Harness NX Smaragd CAD Schematics Brackets design 3D routing Wiring Harness Simulation product data management PLM Change management process Bill of Material is required Should be able to perform root-cause analysis of ADAS feature performance issues-false detections missed detections driver intervention events etc Sound AVAS System Strong exposure experience in automotive sound system design and development both on mechanical and EE design development integration testing rollout Localization and redesigning based on market vehicle configurations Quality management Key responsibilities include creating safety concepts performing analyses such as FMEA and FTA Functional Safety and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and document the safety case Core responsibilities Safety analysis Conduct hazard and risk analyses HARA failure mode and effects analysis FMEA and fault tree analysis FTA Requirements management Define and document functional and technical safety requirements and ensure their implementation throughout the product lifecycle Process development and compliance Implement and monitor the functional safety process based on standards like ISO 26262 and ASPICE Documentation Prepare all necessary safety documentation and the safety case ensuring evidence of compliance is maintained Collaboration Work with R D hardware software and system engineering teams as well as customers to align on safety goals and requirements Mentoring Mentor and guide other team members on functional safety principles and activities Deep knowledge of functional safety standards particularly ISO 26262 Experience with safety analysis tools and techniques such as FMEA FTA and FMEDA Experience in the automotive industry and working with safety-critical systems Strong project management and communication skills Proficiency with safety analysis and documentation tools Software update management SUMS Effect chain management mapping quality control Software update Management System understanding Basic Qualification B Tech B E M Tech M E -
