JOB DESCRIPTION ROLE Garment Merchandiser Location Jalandhar Punjab On-site Industry Sportswear Equipment ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a proactive detail-oriented and experienced Garment Merchant to manage and coordinate the end-to-end merchandising process from order inquiry to final shipment The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of garment manufacturing production timelines buyer communication and product development KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Act as the key point of contact between buyers and internal teams production design quality etc Understand buyer requirements develop samples and ensure timely approvals Prepare and manage Time and Action TNA calendars for each order Follow up on raw material sourcing production schedules and quality parameters Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of trims and fabrics Monitor order status production progress and delivery timelines to avoid delays Prepare costing sheets and negotiate prices with buyers and suppliers Manage buyer communications regarding order updates changes and queries Conduct market research to stay updated on trends pricing and buyer expectations Maintain all merchandising records reports and documentation accurately Ensure adherence to quality standards and buyer compliance requirements PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in Fashion Merchandising Textile Engineering Apparel Manufacturing or a related field Strong communication and negotiation skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel and familiarity with ERP MIS systems Knowledge of fabric types trims washes and garment construction Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Work Location In person
