coordination of the Basic Engineering Design Package BEDP including PFDs block layouts utility summaries and high-level specs Transition into and manage Detailed Engineering ensuring timely delivery of Civil architectural and structural drawings Equipment utility layouts Electrical SLDs MCC designs HVAC zoning and cleanroom layouts Instrumentation and automation schematics Ensure design completeness constructability and compliance with project requirements and pharma standards 2 Multi-Block Multi-Track Design Integration Coordinate across multiple project tracks blocks each managed by separate Project Managers Ensure design interfaces utilities corridors control systems power supply etc between blocks are identified owned and resolved during the design stage Consolidate design issues from various blocks and drive unified solutions to prevent misalignment or duplication 3 Cross-Disciplinary Engineering Coordination Align and integrate inputs from all engineering disciplines Civil Mechanical Electrical Process HVAC Instrumentation Automation EHS Ensure no scope is missed due to siloed working or miscommunication Conduct interdisciplinary design reviews to resolve conflicts and close open points across packages 4 Design Progress Tracking Timeline Acceleration Drive the engineering master schedule with strict milestone adherence Track design deliverables across consultants and internal teams Identify areas for early engineering closure to support procurement and reduce construction lead times 5 Early Issue Identification Risk Mitigation Anticipate technical bottlenecks and resolve them before they impact procurement or construction Facilitate decision-making forums and escalate blockers early Manage and close RFIs inter-discipline queries and open technical issues promptly 6 Constructability Robustness Assurance Ensure the design is practical buildable and considers site execution needs Incorporate lessons learned and operational feedback to avoid post-installation rework Validate all buildings and systems for long-term operability maintainability and compliance 7 Vendor Consultant Package Alignment Lead coordination with EPCM firms design consultants and package vendors Oversee technical bid evaluations TBEs design freeze and vendor drawing approvals Ensure engineering consultants deliver per contract timelines and quality expectations 8 GMP Safety Regulatory Compliance Enforce engineering compliance with GMP safety fire norms cleanroom standards and regulatory codes Align engineering deliverables with validation and
