Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Backup Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise backup and storage environments using Commvault and NetApp technologies The role includes configuring backup policies troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring compliance with organizational standards Key Responsibilities Configure and maintain Commvault backup infrastructure CommServe MediaAgent Storage Policies Administer NetApp ONTAP storage systems and replication technologies Analyze backup performance and implement improvements Handle complex restoration requests and disaster recovery scenarios Collaborate with cross-functional teams for backup strategy alignment Ensure compliance with data retention and security policies Requirements Required Skills Experience 3-5 years of experience in backup administration with Commvault and NetApp Robust knowledge of storage architecture SAN NAS and data protection strategies Proficiency in Windows Linux administration Experience in scripting for automation PowerShell Python Bash Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and backup monitoring tools Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Commvault Certified Professional or NetApp NCDA certification preferred Experience with cloud backup solutions Azure AWS is a plus
