Marmon Technologies India Private Limited As a part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings which is backed by Berkshire Hathaway you ll be doing things that matter leading at every level and winning a better way We re committed to making a positive impact on the world providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities and fostering a culture where everyone s empowered to be their best Under broad supervision designs develops modifies and evaluates components and processes used in the generation manipulation transmission and storage of electricity Determines design approaches and parameters Analyzes equipment to establish operating data conducts experimental tests and evaluates results Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance May interact with users to define system requirements and or necessary modifications Role typically requires between 3 and 5 years of experience This role is as a senior team member and an individual contributor in the Electrical and Instrumentation E I Design team for Marmon Industrial Water The role is to execute the E I engineering activities such as detailed Electrical design Control Panel Design Instrumentation Design PLC and HMI Programming design calculations wiring drawings Prototype development and testing of various Electrical and Programming systems The selected candidate will be responsible for quality of deliverables and for managing time and cost of all the activities assigned Key Responsibilities Functions Design and Develop Electrical panels wiring schematics and maintain present product designs thru Continuous Improvement VAVE and conduct design-related testing and validation On-time project delivery considering technical standards and quality Technical deliveries including design data calculations drawings etc o PLC programming program modifications selection of various components in control panel o Human Machine Interface HMI application development Required Qualifications Education Technical Skills Knowledge Bachelor s degree or M Tech in Electrical engineering or mechatronics engineering or Instrumentation Engineering related technical majors Experience with common PLC hardware including programming and control selection Positive hands-on experience in performing PLC and HMI programming for the water treatment product line Understanding of electrical switch gears Variable Frequency Drive VFD and protections of the control panel Understanding and selection of Instrumentation such as flow pressure and other analytical devices Experience in testing commissioning and servicing of control panels Preparing system electrical connection load details wiring connections drawings Design and develop new products maintain present product designs thru continuous improvement VAVE and conduct design-related testing and validation Preparing Bill of Materials BOMs for control panels Fluent in design software such as E-Plan AutoCAD Electrical and or SolidWorks Hands on experience in electrical design calculations Ability to execute the given tasks within agreed time and with quality deliverables Knowledge of various electrical safety standards used globally and experience in supporting agency certification against these standards Knowledge and experience of technical writing is an added advantage Personal Characteristics and Attributes o Excellent business communication written verbal o Exposure experience to work in a global engineering team environment o Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills o Curious nature Self-starter who can work with minimal guidance supervision o Strong desire in learning new technologies and methodologies o Flexible in adapting to quickly changing business task project priorities o Ability willingness to travel locally nationally or internationally when required Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law
