Position Overview A Construction Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating construction projects in office ensuring work is completed safely efficiently and according to project plans The role bridges the gap between workers and management overseeing crews managing schedules and ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality requirements Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors Interpret and implement blueprints drawings and project specifications Plan daily work schedules assign tasks and monitor progress Ensure safety standards and company policies are strictly followed Train and mentor crew members providing guidance and resolving on-site issues Inspect work quality and ensure adherence to building codes and regulations Collaborate with project managers engineers and clients to meet deadlines Monitor use of materials and equipment to avoid delays and wastage Maintain records of work progress attendance and incidents Report project status and challenges to higher management Skills Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents In-depth knowledge of construction methods tools and equipment Problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Physical stamina and ability to work in demanding environments Good organizational and time management skills Understanding of workplace safety regulations OSHA or local equivalents Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent technical certification preferred Proven experience as a Foreman Supervisor or similar role in construction Hands-on experience in carpentry masonry concrete work or other trades Knowledge of construction management software preferred Valid driver s license may be required Typical Work Environment Job sites residential commercial or infrastructure projects Exposure to outdoor weather heavy machinery and physically demanding work Requires wearing protective equipment helmets boots safety vests etc Job Type Full-time Pay 18 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person
