Data Engineer - Data Stage Expert Offshore - Chennai We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer with solid expertise in IBM Datastage and or Talend to join our team in Hyderabad The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining ETL processes to support data warehousing and analytics initiatives You ll work closely with data architects analysts and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality data delivery and transformation Key Responsibilities Design develop and maintain ETL Extract Transform Load workflows using IBM Datastage and or Talend Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data integration solutions Optimize ETL job performance and troubleshoot issues in data pipelines Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity consistency and a seamless data flow Perform data profiling cleansing and transformation tasks Implement best practices for data integration security and governance Monitor and maintain ETL jobs to ensure timely data availability Create and maintain technical documentation for all processes and provide support for production deployments Required Skills and Qualifications A bachelor s or master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field Proven hands-on experience in ETL development using IBM Datastage and or Talend Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts data modeling and ETL architecture Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases like Oracle SQL Server or PostgreSQL Experience with data quality data profiling and metadata management Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP is a plus
