The Store Keeper is responsible for the efficient management of hospital inventory including medical supplies surgical items equipment linen housekeeping materials and other consumables The role ensures timely availability of required stock proper storage accurate record-keeping and strict adherence to hospital policies and safety standards Key Responsibilities 1 Inventory Management Receive store and issue medical supplies equipment and consumables as per hospital requirements Maintain adequate stock levels to prevent shortages Ensure materials are stored in proper conditions temperature sterility safety 2 Documentation Record Keeping Maintain up-to-date stock registers GRNs Goods Receipt Notes and issue records Enter stock transactions in the hospital inventory management system software Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies 3 Procurement Support Coordinate with the purchase department for replenishment of stock Verify delivery challans invoices and supplier documents before acceptance Assist in vendor follow-ups for timely delivery 4 Quality Compliance Check received goods for quality expiry dates batch numbers and damage Ensure FIFO First In First Out and FEFO First Expiry First Out methods for inventory issue Adhere to hospital policies NABH standards and statutory compliance for medical supplies 5 Coordination Issue materials to nursing stations operation theatres and other departments as per indents Work closely with nursing pharmacy purchase and finance teams Provide monthly stock reports to management Job Type Full-time Pay 10 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Advantages Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
