Job Summary Responsible for providing Post order engineering and support to sales and tendering during bidding phase Will be the single point of contact for engineering deliverables vendor documents Review Approval for the assigned project The incumbent will be based at our Ghaziabad plant and will report into Engineering Manager Principle Duties and Responsibilities Provide end to end order engineering support as an Individual Contributor on assigned projects Review of technical specifications analyze nonstandard requirements and propose solutions Creation of GA CS PID and 3D models assemblies manufacturing drawings using Solid works AutoCAD Create Order review documentation Prepare preliminary plan for engineering deliverable in line with project requirements Prepare pump data sheet Creation of BOM Perform basic engineering calculations as required Work independently Support Develop Jr engineer Closely coordinate with other functions such as project management supply chain and Celeros global engineering teams for efficient execution of the projects Maintain Project Documents and important communications decisions in structured format Solve issues identified during pump assembly Prioritize tasks and efficiently monitor and close the critical tasks Maintain Engineering Change Notices ECN Proactiveness in resolving queries raised by vendors customer on submitted documents i e RFQs Drawings data sheets procedures etc Contribute to develop Engineering standards process improvements Cost reduction initiatives Improve Quality of engineering deliverables right the first time and on time delivery Knowledge Skills and Abilities 15 years of experience in API 610 Centrifugal pump post order engineering function Knowledge of Electric Motor Mechanical Seal Seal System Coupling Valve JB etc Strong CAD skills in Part modelling Drafting and Assembly in Solid works AutoCAD should be able to work independently Experienced in issuing BOM RFQ drawings engineering documentations Ability to review technical specifications engineering standards and produce associated design documentation Thorough knowledge of industry specifications such as API 610 API 682 ASTM codes etc and able to interpret and apply as required knowledge of manufacturing processes machine design fluid mechanics metallurgy etc Experienced in communication with Global clients is added advantage Valuable spoken and written English skills ability to make concise communication with clients Strong interpersonal skills for communicating thoughts and ideas Team working ability and an attitude of collaboration mentoring and flexibility Ability to prioritize the tasks and ownership of assigned projects Education and Experience BE in Mechanical Engineering in regular full-time course from recognized institute and university More than 6 years of experience in design order execution from relevant industry with minimum 4 years of core post order engineering of centrifugal pumps for oil and gas domain experience Working Knowledge of 3D 2D design software s AutoCAD Solid works any other engineering software applications would be an added advantage Required to travel to Ghaziabad on necessity basis
