Project Role Cloud Platform Engineer Project Role Description Designs builds tests and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability security and performance Must have skills Automation Architecture Good to have skills Site Reliability Engineering Minimum 7 5 year s of experience is required Educational Qualification 15 years full time education Summary As a Cloud Platform Engineer you will engage in the design construction testing and deployment of cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and non-cloud infrastructures Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the architecture s viability security and performance while also creating proof of concepts to validate your designs You will be responsible for deploying infrastructure and platform environments ensuring that all components work harmoniously together to meet organizational goals and client needs Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment Key Responsibilities o Design develop and maintain Ansible playbooks roles and modules o Manage and optimize AWX Tower deployments and configurations o Integrate Ansible workflows into CI CD pipelines o Collaborate with infrastructure operations and development teams to automate provisioning configuration and deployment o Provide technical leadership and mentorship around automation best practices o Create and maintain technical documentation for automation standards and processes o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ansible and AWX o Evaluate and recommend improvements for Ansible automation frameworks o Ensure compliance with security and configuration management standards Required Qualifications o Strong expertise in Ansible including playbooks roles inventories and modules o Hands-on experience with AWX Tower including workflow templates job templates credentials and RBAC o Solid understanding of CI CD processes and integration with tools like Jenkins GitLab or GitHub Actions o Experience with Linux-based environments scripting Bash Python and systems administration o Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code principles and DevOps practices o Experience in managing large-scale complex IT environments o Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills Preferred Qualifications o Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or similar certification o Experience with public cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP o Knowledge of containerization Docker Kubernetes o Familiarity with ITSM and ITIL processes o Solid interpersonal and communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders - A 15 years full time education is required 15 years full time education
