Job Title Head of Operations with potential to grow into COO Location Dadar Mumbai Department Operations Reporting To CEO Managing Director Work Days Monday to Saturday Work Hours 10 00 AM to 7 00 PM Company Overview Shree Ram Textiles is a dynamic merchant exporter and textile trading company built on a culture of ownership efficiency and strong relationships We operate as a small close-knit team where each individual is valued and empowered As we scale rapidly we are looking for a proactive and process-oriented Head of Operations who can streamline execution and gradually step into a strategic leadership role Role Overview The Head of Operations will lead day-to-day operations across sourcing order processing logistics export documentation and internal coordination The ideal candidate will be hands-on systems-driven and capable of scaling processes without bureaucracy Over time this role will transition into a COO-level leadership position taking ownership of strategic operations and multi-departmental alignment Key Responsibilities Execution Operational Excellence Manage and optimize end-to-end operations from order booking to final shipment Coordinate with sourcing documentation logistics and sales support teams Ensure timely procurement production follow-ups and dispatch coordination Implement and enforce SOPs for efficiency and accuracy Track daily workflows using tools like Excel Google Sheets or CRM Cross-Functional Coordination Liaise with suppliers buyers transporters CHA freight forwarders and banks Ensure seamless flow of documents and goods for exports Support the finance accounts team with operational inputs for invoicing payments and reconciliations Process Improvement Reporting Monitor key operational KPIs TAT dispatch delays error rates etc Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions Suggest and implement automation tools or tech solutions for improved efficiency Team Building Culture Build lead and manage a small but effective operations and support team Instill a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement Support HR in hiring operational staff aligned with our values Qualifications Skills Graduate Postgraduate in Business Operations Supply Chain or related field 5-10 years of experience in operations preferably in textiles exports trading or logistics Strong grasp of operational systems export documentation and compliance Hands-on mindset with high attention to detail and process thinking Tech-savvy - comfortable with Excel Google Workspace CRM tools Strong people and communication skills Growth Path to COO The selected candidate will have the opportunity to evolve into the Chief Operating Officer COO role over 12-18 months based on performance in the following areas Establishing end-to-end operational stability Demonstrated leadership and team development Implementing scalable systems and workflows Driving measurable improvements in efficiency and client satisfaction Supporting strategic decisions with data and insights A structured review and goal-setting process will be held every 6 months to assess readiness for the COO transition What We Offer A transparent and empowering work environment Freedom to build systems and take ownership An opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role A high-trust low-politics culture focused on execution and outcomes Job Type Full-time Pay 40 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Expected Start Date 04 08 2025
