Farm Cost Accountant Integrated Farming Livestock AI CentCompensation Competitive based on experience and expertise in agricultural cost accounting We are establishing a highly diversified and integrated farm specializing in Tree Planting Orchard Crop Production Livestock Dairy Goat Poultry Vermicomposting and a Branded AI Semen Distribution Centre We are seeking a meticulous and analytically driven Farm Cost Accountant to establish and manage our entire financial accounting and control system Key Responsibilities The Farm s Financial Pilot The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking analyzing and reporting the profitability of each distinct business unit ensuring the synergy of our Integrated Farming System IFS is financially optimized 1 System Setup and Maintenance Cost Center Establishment Design and implement a robust Cost Center structure segregating expenses and revenue for the Orchard Crop Fields Dairy Unit Vermicompost Unit Poultry and the AI Centre Inter-Unit Transfer Pricing Establish protocols for valuing and recording the transfer of resources between units e g cow dung from Dairy to Vermicompost fodder from Crops to Dairy Fixed Asset Management Maintain the Fixed Asset Register calculating and allocating depreciation for specialized infrastructure sheds irrigation AI equipment 2 Daily Weekly Operations Input Inventory Control Oversee the accurate tracking of all inventory feed seeds semen straws diesel and reconcile stock levels weekly Labor Cost Allocation Implement a daily system to accurately allocate manpower time and costs to the specific Cost Centers they served 3 Monthly Analysis and Reporting Cost of Production COP Calculation Prepare accurate monthly COP statements for all outputs per litre of milk per kg of vermicompost per AI service provided per unit of crop Budgetary Control Conduct detailed Variance Analysis comparing actual performance against the established operating budget and identifying areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement Profitability Reporting Generate comprehensive Enterprise Profitability Statements to advise management on which units are the most financially successful and which require strategic changes Required Qualifications Skills Education Bachelor s or Master s degree in Commerce Accounting or Finance Professional qualification ICMAI CMA CA Inter is highly preferred Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in Cost Accounting preferably within the Agriculture Horticulture Dairy or related manufacturing processing sectors Technical Proficiency Advanced knowledge of Tally or other modern accounting ERP software Strong proficiency in MS Excel for analysis and reporting Agricultural Knowledge Demonstrated understanding of key farming metrics like FCR Feed Conversion Ratio Yield per Acre and the financial dynamics of an integrated farm Why Join Us This is a greenfield project offering a unique prospect to build a cost accounting system from the ground up You will be a crucial strategic partner to the farm owner directly influencing operational efficiency and the farm s path to profitability If you are passionate about sustainable agriculture and disciplined financial management we encourage you to apply Job Types Full time Permanent Freelance Pay 65 000 00 - 75 000 00 per month Benefits Flexible schedule Application Question s Mention your Whatsapp phone number Mention your email id Do you have any experience of working as cost accountant Accountant in an Integrated Agricultural Farm Describe in brief your past activities in the past in an agricultural farm mention quantities whereevr aoolicable Work Location In person
