Factory Manager Company Ambica Industries Location Howrah Domjur Industry Chemical Manufacturing Experience Required Minimum 8-12 years in chemical industry production operations with solid team plant management experience Position Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Factory Manager with proven experience in the chemical manufacturing industry to oversee complete plant operations The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production safety compliance manpower management cost control and continuous improvement in plant performance Key Responsibilities 1 Production Operations Management Plan organize and manage daily chemical production activities Ensure production targets quality specifications and deadlines are consistently met Monitor process parameters and take corrective actions when required Implement process optimization for improved efficiency and reduced downtime 2 Manpower Team Management Lead supervise and motivate factory staff shift supervisors and operators Allocate manpower across departments as per production needs Conduct regular training skill development and performance reviews Ensure discipline attendance and adherence to company policies 3 Safety Health Environment SHE Compliance Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure all employees follow safety guidelines Ensure compliance with chemical handling PPE usage and environmental regulations Conduct safety audits risk assessments and incident investigations Coordinate with EHS team for statutory compliance and documentation 4 Quality Control Process Improvement Ensure raw materials intermediates and finished products meet quality standards Work closely with the QC QA team for testing approvals and corrective measures Implement continuous improvement Kaizen Lean 5S to enhance product quality 5 Inventory Resource Management Monitor raw material packing material and finished goods inventory Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and equipment Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability Ensure optimum utilization of energy manpower and resources 6 Documentation Reporting Maintain all production-related documentation logs and MIS reports Submit daily weekly and monthly production and compliance reports Handle audits statutory inspections and regulatory documentation Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering preferred Minimum 8-12 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing plant Strong knowledge of chemical processes plant utilities and safety regulations Experience in handling large teams and managing multi-shift factory operations Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 40 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
