Position Title Shift Supervisor - Injection Moulding Location ADH Polymers Pvt Ltd Vill Issapur Janghi Punjab Department Production Reports to Production Manager Position Overview The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations on the shop floor during their shift This includes managing injection molding machines supervising a team of operators ensuring the correct loading and unloading of molds maintaining production schedules and ensuring the quality of molded products The role also involves ensuring the smooth functioning of machines and molds including necessary maintenance activities Key Responsibilities Injection Moulding Machine Operation Supervision Oversee and operate injection molding machines ranging from 150T to 450T Milacron and Shibaura models Ensure efficient operation and monitor machine performance to meet production targets Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly to minimize downtime Team Management Supervise and coordinate a team of operators and technicians to ensure smooth production operations Provide guidance and training to team members to improve performance and safety standards Assign tasks and monitor individual and team performance Mould Load Unload Supervise the loading and unloading of molds as per production requirements Ensure molds are handled with care to avoid any damage during these processes Mould Processing Maintenance Ensure proper processing and maintenance of molds especially high-precision molds e g HRTC type Oversee the cleaning inspection and maintenance of molds to ensure they are in optimal condition Plastic Material Processing Handle various plastic materials such as HIPS PC ABS PPCP and EVA ensuring correct processing parameters are set Ensure that all material handling is done in compliance with safety and quality standards Documentation Production Records Maintain accurate production documentation including machine logs maintenance records and quality control reports Ensure that all records are completed accurately and in a timely manner for shift changeovers and audits Machine Maintenance Ensure that all machines are regularly maintained to avoid breakdowns Perform minor machine repairs and coordinate with the maintenance team for more complex issues Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to Leadership Communication Provide clear leadership to the production team ensuring that all staff adhere to safety and operational guidelines Facilitate effective communication between the production team quality control and management Address and resolve any team concerns ensuring a productive and positive work workplace Qualifications Skills Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in the injection molding industry with at least 2 years in a supervisory role In-depth knowledge of injection molding machine operation molding processes and maintenance Technical Skills Strong understanding of various plastic materials their properties and processing methods Hands-on experience in mold processing and maintenance especially HRTC-type molds Familiarity with machine maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques Leadership Proven experience in managing teams with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Documentation Organizational Skills Ability to maintain accurate production records and reports Familiarity with production-related documentation including maintenance logs and quality control forms Additional Skills Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a rapid-paced environment A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high production standards Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule Rotational shift Supplemental Pay Overtime pay Yearly bonus Ability to commute relocate Dera Bassi Punjab Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Education Diploma Required Work Location In person
