TRANSLINE CONVEYORS PVT LTD Job Title Production Engineer Location Bangalore Experience 2-3 years Industry Conveyor Packaging Machinery Industrial Fabrication preferred Qualification Diploma B E B Tech in Mechanical Production Industrial Engineering Salary 30-35K per month Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Production Engineer to oversee day-to-day production activities plan and execute projects allocate manpower coordinate with Design Stores Quality and ensure timely delivery of manufactured equipment as per drawings BOM BOQ The role requires robust planning skills technical understanding and hands-on shop-floor supervision Key Responsibilities Plan and execute daily weekly monthly production schedules Review drawings update drawing registers generate project reports Allocate manpower based on skill and productivity Monitor machine availability preventive maintenance breakdowns Verify assemblies and final products as per BOQ drawings layout Coordinate with QC for in-process and final inspection Manage materials efficiently and minimize scrap Conduct skill tests for new candidates Ensure 5S implementation and workplace discipline Prepare consumable lists and handover lists for Stores Support pre-dispatch checks and ensure packing frame readiness Monitor ongoing activities and flag delays or risks early to management Maintain and update the Production Planning Report share progress during weekly meetings Ensure non-conformances NCs are resolved with proper approval and documentation Skills Required Strong technical knowledge of fabrication assembly machining drawing interpretation Must be able to Read and interpret engineering drawings 2D 3D BOM BOQ Understand fabrication machining welding assembly Verify assemblies subassemblies as per layout tolerances Production Planning Execution Skills Must demonstrate Daily weekly monthly production planning Resource planning Man-Machine-Material Handling multiple projects simultaneously Strong follow-up and reporting Manpower Handling Skill Allocation Must be capable of Allocating tasks based on worker skill level Ensuring optimum manpower productivity Supervising and training team members Maintaining shop-floor discipline Material Management Scrap Control Should show Efficient material consumption Use of cut material before issuing recent stock Scrap monitoring and reduction practices Coordination with Stores to avoid shortages Quality Process Compliance Required abilities Coordinate in-process and final QC inspections Identify defects and close NC Non-Conformance with evidence Follow 5S shop-floor safety process standards Ensure pre-dispatch checklist compliance ISO Documentation Process Adherence Must have strong knowledge of ISO procedures such as Preparing and updating SOPs Work Instructions Formats Maintaining production records as per ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements Documenting process changes deviations and corrective actions Ensuring traceability of materials drawings revisions Supporting internal and external ISO audits Performance Indicators KPIs On-time project completion Material utilization scrap reduction Quality compliance reduction in rework Machine downtime control Accuracy of documentation and ISO readiness Manpower productivity efficiency Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 360 000 00 - 450 000 00 per year Benefits Health insurance Leave encashment Life insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
