Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager / Assistant Manager – Estimation to handle estimation, tendering, rate analysis, BOQ preparation, and commercial evaluation for infrastructure and civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, rate analysis, and quantity take-offs for civil/infrastructure projects.
- Study tender documents, drawings, specifications, scope of work, and contract conditions.
- Prepare and review tender quotations, commercial bids, and cost proposals.
- Analyze material, labour, equipment, subcontractor, and other project costs.
- Prepare Rate Analysis based on market rates, SOR, project specifications, and available resources.
- Coordinate with the Planning, Design, Procurement, Project, and Commercial teams for estimation requirements.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors/subcontractors and negotiate rates where required.
- Identify project risks, exclusions, deviations, and cost implications during tender preparation.
- Prepare comparative statements, cost sheets, and budget estimates.
- Assist in pre-bid meetings, tender clarifications, and negotiations with clients/consultants.
- Maintain estimation databases, previous project rates, vendor quotations, and cost records.




- Review actual project costs against estimated costs and provide inputs for future tenders.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders and commercial proposals within deadlines.

Required Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering may be considered depending on experience and project requirements.

Experience

- Assistant Manager: 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Manager: 8–12+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Infrastructure / Roads / Bridges / Railways / Metro / Buildings / Water Infrastructure / Industrial Projects will be preferred.
- Strong experience in Estimation, Tendering, BOQ, Rate Analysis, and Costing is mandatory.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of Civil Estimation & Costing.
- Excellent understanding of BOQ, Quantity Take-off, Rate Analysis and Tendering.
- Good knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and estimation/tendering software will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of CPWD/State SOR/DSR and market rates.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

- Candidates with experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, Railway/Metro, Bridges, Canals, Water Infrastructure, Buildings, and other EPC projects will be preferred.
