Job Summary
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the companys financial operations,
including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and cash flow management. The
role provides financial insights to support strategic decision-making and ensures adherence to
statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and general ledger
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L;, balance sheet, cash
flow) in accordance with applicable accounting standards
Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis against actuals
Manage cash flow planning, working capital requirements, and fund management
Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax,
PF/ESIC, and other applicable regulations
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits
and assessments
Monitor receivables and payables, and support collections and vendor payment planning
Support costing, pricing, and margin analysis for projects and products
Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review
Evaluate and manage banking relationships, loans, and credit facilities (including IREDA,
term loans, working capital limits)
Support fundraising activities, including preparation of financial models and
documentation for investors/lenders
Ensure proper documentation and internal controls across financial processes




Liaise with internal departments (procurement, HR, sales) on budget adherence and cost control
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory frameworks
affecting the business
Key Requirements
Education
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting; CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)
preferred
Experience
5-8 years of experience in finance and accounts, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or project-based industries; experience with statutory compliance and audits required
Skills & Competencies
Robust knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS), taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and corporate compliance
Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or other ERP/accounting software
Advanced MS Excel skills (financial modelling, MIS reporting)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Experience with banking, loan documentation, and credit facility management
Knowledge of government incentive schemes (PLI, VGF, capital subsidies) is an advantage
Knowledge of cost accounting and project-based financial management
Knowledge of Excel automation and dashboard tools is a plus
Knowledge of financial compliance for renewable energy/manufacturing sector is an
advantage
Other Requirements
Willingness to travel for client/site visits and audits as per business requirements
Fluent in English; knowledge of additional regional languages is preferred.
